I don't see anything. There looks like there is an exhaust fan setup on the heater itself which I assume is normal but nothing at the shower itself or at least accessible. Where would one be if we did have one.
Access to water shut-off Q. If you want to go with large format 12x24 tiles, a linear drain is the way to go. A center drain format will not allow for the slope needed with larger tiles. I think this is relatively new to many professionals so there is some reluctance due to limited knowledge and experience. All other showers will have curbs, but linear drains in all so that we can also use 12x24 tile.
