If they still deny you stating your personal statement, then you know that LSE has not given your application a thorough review. Unfortunately, LSE admission decisions cannot be appealed and neither can you send more information to them about your application.

Each application is carefully considered by our Undergraduate Selectors before a final decision is made, taking into account the full range of information presented on the UCAS form.

This includes the Personal Statement , academic achievement both achieved and predicted grades , subject combinations, contextual information and the UCAS reference.

All decisions on on-time applications those received by 26 January will be made and communicated no later than 19 May Whilst we appreciate that applicants would like to receive a decision as soon as possible, due to the large number of applications received every year, there will inevitably be a number of applicants who will not receive their decision until 19 May If there are circumstances or events that may have an impact on decision processing times, we will inform students by email.

Any offer of admission that the School issues to you is only valid for the specific programme for which it is made. Where an applicant has applied to multiple programmes, they will only be eligible to receive one offer. It is not LSE policy to make more than one offer to applicants in the same admissions cycle. Please note, however, that it is not possible for us to re-consider your application in the same admissions cycle for a programme for which you have already been unsuccessful that year.

Neither is it possible for you to make a substitution if you have already been rejected by LSE for your original programme choice and you have used all your five programme choices. If you satisfy the above criteria you should submit your application via UCAS before 26 January and your application will be considered alongside all other on-time applicants for that programme. In this case we need more time before making a full decision. We will make that decision by the end of April.

At that stage we may be able to offer you admission, a place on the reserve list, or, depending on the level of competition, we may be unable to offer you a place. You do not need to provide further documentation or updated information while you are held on the waiting list. We are unable to offer you a place unsuccessful application.

This decision is final and not open to appeal. It may be that the programme is already full. You may request that your application be considered for an alternative programme s or that your application be reinstated to the following year to be considered again in the next admissions cycle. You are on a reserve list. Your application is considered to be of a high enough standard, but no places remain on your chosen programme. If a place becomes available, you may be sent an offer later in the year.

Final offers to reserve-listed applicants will be sent out by the end of August. If we are unable to make you an offer for your original programme choices, but the academic selector suggests that your application may be suitable for another programme, we will contact you to ask whether you would like to be considered for this alternative programme.
